The Resurrection of Jesus
1 Corinthians 15: 3 -- 11
Introduction
1.
In thousands of pulpits today the
resurrection of Jesus will be mentioned by people who do not believe the body of
Jesus came out of the tomb
2.
Thousands of people today will give
lip service to God while living as though Jesus were still dead
3.
We say with Peter, "This Jesus
God raised up again" (Acts 2: 32)
4.
Atheists believe that improbable
things have happened by chance, but we believe that the improbable has happened
by the power of God, and the improbable has thus become the probable

If you love God today, you should
love Him tomorrow

If you believe in Jesus today, you
should obey the gospel today
3.
One obeys the gospel by dying to
sin, by being buried in baptism, and by living a new life (Romans 6: 1-4)
4.
Only Jesus can deliver you from the
power of sin and death
