Luke 2:1-7

Introduction

1.       Since this is the season to think about Jesus, we will spend the next four weeks preaching on Jesus, his teaching, his miracles, his death and his resurrection

2.       The whole world now dates time from the birth of Jesus

3.       The birth of Jesus signaled a new era in God’s relationship with people

Conclusion

1.       The Glory of God revealed in the birth of Jesus is of no avail if we do not respond to what God has done

2.       As Jesus was born in Bethlehem , we must be born again in order to enter the kingdom of God

3.       There is no new birth of water and spirit until we enter the water of baptism to be united with Jesus
